Our company was founded the same year that the First World War ended, and we have been part of the development of fastening elements for 90 years. It all began when Arvid Nilsson moved from Skåne, Sweden to Copenhagen and began a merchant’s apprenticeship. At the age of 25 he founded his company in Copenhagen’s Vesterbro neighbourhood.
Arvid Nilsson’s namesake company quickly grew to become a leading company on the Danish market. Through a series of purchases and expansion, the concern is today located in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and China. And throughout it all we have been part of the technical development that has taken place in the business community and society as a whole. In other words, everything from sailboats to super tankers.
One thing has, however, remained constant since the company's founding: the desire for innovation. And due to the fact that Arvid Nilsson has maintained its unique company dynamic, we remain a forward looking partner for both the industrial and retail sectors who want professional and cost-effective solutions when it comes to fasteners.
